Everything was fine until the ants ran away
I had high hopes for this ant farm considering it was for my daughter's 5th birthday and it was the first item on her list. We had fun installing it and I ordered the ants to come in so we didn't have to wait for them to come. About an hour and a half after we installed it, I go upstairs and see ants crawling around on the dresser. They poked out one of the ports. I put duct tape on them and they started coming out from the bottom. Now they're sitting in my basement and the whole thing is taped almost everywhere! Great concept but I'm sorry that for months she's been asking for something that didn't work out the way we envisioned.
