Tool really works. My hands hurt every time I put boat covers on. Now it's much easier. It would be better if they moved the hole in the handle a bit higher - sometimes it gets in the way when I put the tool on the latch to put the lids back on. I'll probably buy another one so others can help without hurting my hands. I bought another one for my first assistant to help with the covers. One thing to note is that when removing the cover you have to be very careful not to get the tool under the latch fitted to the boat or you will pull it out (my wife has already done this).
