1. I was hoping we could put our thumbs in the handles to make the plate easier to hold when away from the table (eating on the couch while watching TV), but the holes are it too small .2. Even when stacked on top of each other, they don't fit tightly on top of each other as they wobble a bit. They won't slip between your teeth when washed in the dishwasher, so you need to lay them "flat" so the water can reach and clean them.4. But, hey, these are just shells, so I'll leave them. Not worth the hassle of sending it back.
