I have to admit that I am very disappointed with this product. As a hobby I buy, repair and sell gaming systems and controllers. I also worked in electronics for a long time. So repairing controllers is nothing new to me. I got a first generation DualShock 4 (CUH-ZCT1U) from a garage sale that I wanted to refurbish and resell, but the joysticks needed replacing. I bought them, installed them and assembled the controller. I was very disappointed to find that the new sticks scratched the case. As a test, I disassembled it and installed the original joystick for comparison and reassembled it. The new one has scratches but the OEM part doesn't. After comparing, the parts I bought were about 16 inches wider. That's why it scratched. They might work in new generation controllers, I don't know, but they don't work in first generation controllers. Spend your money on a quality replacement.
