I spent an hour trying to figure out why my windows 10 doesn't recognize the cable. Then I found a site where you can download the FTDI drivers. If you're not tech savvy, you'll need help installing it. They said that no drivers are required and that they will be installed automatically. Well, false advertising. I'm not returning the cable because I was able to get it to work, but the price I paid is absolutely not worth it. Anyway, I've seen other people having the same problems. In the end, no need to go back, just download the FTDI drivers. Google search. It should be on ftdichip[dot]com
