I ordered this phone mount hoping it would be the last one I need for a while. I have a 2017 Mustang and the Mustang's round air vents made it difficult for me to find a mount that fitted properly so I was hoping this would be the right one and at first it seemed like I had found what I was looking for. It was very easy to attach to my air vent and my phone fit perfectly even with my Outtabox protective case. The mount kept my phone stable and secure. But on a hot summer in my area (we had a couple of weeks in the mid 90's) and after 4 months of use the plastic pins that house the ball joint broke, they just snapped off and the rear plastic hook started to warp and straighten from the heat. Maybe if the rear hook was metal it would solve this problem, as for the ball joint, I don't know what to do about it. So I'm disappointed that it only took four months and am now looking for another mount for myself again.
