Noise is a mill, so it makes noise. I don't trust any coffee grinder that doesn't make noise. Easy to clean - easy as there are only two parts to clean, but you have to be careful. However, this is not a problem. Overall, it's inexpensive and serves its purpose. I argued about buying a more expensive product as I felt it could be more reliable, but this cheaper item has proven to be reliable. I don't overload the grinder, I spend time grinding coffee beans and I take time to take care of my product. No problems to report so far so overall a good investment.
