Review on Sous Vide Bags - 30 Bags in 3 Sizes, Reusable & Vacuum-Sealed | BPA Free - Must-Have Accessory for Sous Vide Cooker, Premium Quality by Heather Young

Lightweight, reusable sous vide bags and freezer bags

This set includes 3 different sized bags. There is more than enough room for meat for one meal in the smallest of packages. Big bags are BIG. I'm not sure if it fits a whole chicken or similar piece of food, but I haven't tried it yet. I could definitely see it being used, maybe for Cornish chicken or pork shoulder. I use this for sous vide cooking and for storing leftover meat in the freezer when not preparing all the items that come with the purchase. These bags are great and the air removal pump works great. There's even a place to write on erasable paper what's in the bag and the date it's kept (or mess it up). And since this removes all the air from the bag, you can certainly put other foods (other than just meat) in the freezer that could otherwise burn. . And it definitely gets there. Of course, this makes cleaning a little more complicated. However, having to clean the inside of the bag is a small price to pay for not having to constantly have a vacuum sealer or buy Ziploc-style bags. Others have also mentioned that the airtight seal doesn't last long enough. I haven't experienced this personally, but I see it's a problem. I have more than enough bags that this won't be a problem for a long time as my wife doesn't eat meat so she rarely uses it for veggies. So we go through the same 3-4 small pockets. But the bags aren't very expensive, so I'd be willing to buy a second set if this problem doesn't happen more than once a year.
