Excellent, all previous brands of vacuum bags I've used have let down for a day or two and the vacuum is gone. They are incredibly tight and although there has been no sign of loosening in just 4 days I have purchased another set for a friend.

These bags are awesome! The vacuum seal holds surprisingly well there. Use them for both vacuum storage and freezer storage and haven't given me any problems so far. I turn them inside out to clean and we also used the dishwasher, it smells a bit like previous items but a good sensitization takes care of that too.

These work well as sous vide bags. I like it and use the vacuum function to increase the surface area of the food in the water. These are thick plastic bags that will stain and wear out over time. I have had six or more uses of each bag and will buy again. They are much better than the equivalent ziplock bags.

The first bags we used (for sous vide) were ok, so we were very excited at first. The bags have since unsealed in both the sous vide tub and the freezer (and these are new, not reused old ones!). We sealed the bag and sucked the air out, but after a few minutes without even putting it in water or the freezer, we found the seal was leaking and full of air. We have gravy in the cob. I was really excited to have a reusable bag instead of throwing away plastic, but it's not.

I have NEVER used a vacuum system for food. I used regular ziplock bags and squeezed the air out as best I could. But lately I've gotten tired of freezer burn fatigue and always think I should freeze food better or use fatter food. This set includes 3 different sized bags. There is more than enough room for meat for one meal in the smallest of packages. Big bags are BIG. I'm not sure if it fits a whole chicken or similar piece of food, but I haven't tried it yet. I could definitely see it being used, maybe for Cornish chicken or pork shoulder.
