Review on 🚙 Dorman 601-024 Trailer Brake Control Module for Ram | Prime Selection of Models by Travis Oetting

I recently purchased this brake controller for my 2014 Ram 1500 and have had nothing but problems since installing it. When I took it to the dealer they easily turned on the towing function but the no trailer light was still on. The technician told me that everything was working correctly, although the light on the box was still working. Even with this small issue I still had a feeling everything would be fine as I had read in reviews that this had happened to other people and they had no other issues. Then other crazy things started happening to my electrical system. All my dashboard warning lights were flashing up and down and the controls in the cockpit were going crazy, flashing and flashing and everything else random. Since this was the only new item I ever installed in the truck's electrical system, I decided to unplug it from the box and drive the truck for a few days. To my surprise, the problems completely disappeared. I need a brake controller for this truck but I feel like I should have gone to the dealer and got it direct and I should have known this was all going to happen. I will never buy any other Dorman product in my life.
