I ordered this clay pot for cooking to enhance the natural flavor without adding fat. The pot itself is great. The lid is transparent so you can see what you are cooking. However, the silicone seal is a bit thin around the edges and slips a bit. Everything is baked evenly with no "hot spots". My only complaint is the size. This is a 3 liter pot, not big enough for family cooking. It was big enough for 4 chicken thighs. I wish they would offer it in a larger size. I would buy today.
