I have never used a digital soldering iron and have always resorted to soldering guns to have enough heat to do what I need. This iron feels every 100 watts, responds quickly to commands and has a protective rubber grip on the handle. If you set the temperature to "C" or "F", it will reach the set temperature faster than 10°C per second. So if you set the temperature to 300°C, the full 500°C will be reached in 30 or 50 seconds. I am absolutely satisfied with his work. The instructions are clear and the controls are user-friendly. I've only used it once since I bought it for a week so I don't have any feedback on durability but I hope it will last if the directions for use are followed.
