This is a fuse. either it does or it doesn't. It gets 5 stars because it conducts electricity, fits in a slot, and the price was the best. Is the value "40 amps" correct? impossible to know without destructive testing. Will it continue? I'll update this review if it ever fails prematurely without an overload or if it ever fails to open circuit during an overload.
