I have now been able to use these flash diffusers/reflectors for an extended period of time and in a variety of conditions. I thought they were excellent; very easy to use and extremely versatile. Their build quality is excellent. In the past I have used (and still use occasionally) a Tupperware-type plastic cap diffuser; overall worked out quite well. With my modification to them, I found that the directional nature of the light created a much better image and tended to eliminate light concentration. Now I use them all the time, almost every time I have a flash connected; Pretty much the only time they're not used is when I'm following my grandkids to a fair or festival (with my Nikon SB-400) when they tend to get in the way, otherwise they're on flash. I am so satisfied, I will order another set so that I always have it with me in my reversing camera bag.
