Review on Storex Wiggle Stool – Active Flexible Seating For Classroom And Home Study by Gary Lucas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Space saver, nice color, doesn't look cheap

This test deserves a 5...only out of 3 we got, the mouse pad (surprisingly effective smart design idea) comes off at one right out of the box. I can probably glue it. I'll probably order another one or two for my boys room as well when I reorganize her space. They meet my needs because 1) they are backless so they can be tucked under tables for vacuuming. 2) the color enlivened a previously boring room full of kids; 3) small size (literally and visually not as bulky as most options). 4) Ideal height for ikea dressing tables that we use as a desk. 5) The kids preferred it to another cool but not wobbly option that I almost kept (the Norwood stool). 6) My kids won't throw them around the house to climb things because they would fall over (I didn't realize this was going to be the main winning factor I chose). 7) My kids can't hide in it which means they are scattered around the house like toys. My 8 year old quickly found he could take them on and I hate throwing things around. So if they ignore my "no toys" I hope I can use a padlock or similar if needed but generally I like that if they need it somewhere else in the next few years I can adjust the height.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
