My hands get cold while gaming which slows down my reaction time and causes a bit of discomfort. The pad is easy to use, press the button to switch between high, medium, low and off. The color of the LED indicates the setting. The maximum power is 80W. It warms up my mouse pad well and my mouse to warm up my hand. It's less effective at keeping the keyboard warm for warming my left hand, but it still penetrates the keyboard and keeps it warm, but not as much as a mouse. Make noise, occupy the workplace. This is a good compromise to keep your hands warm without using a heater. Also a clue as to where the long or thicker sleeves are, your arms get colder as the blood being pumped to your arms cools on its way through your arms.
