Review on 🚶 AGSHOME ZIGBEE Motion Sensor - Enhanced compatibility with Echo Plus, Echo Studio, and Echo Show 2nd Generation by Christian Poojary

It works, it's cheap but there are some problems. I probably won't continue to use them unless I find something better. 1 - The photos show a completely clean unit, but all 3 I've ordered have the words "AGSHOME" written on the front. At first glance, it looks like it says "asshole". I'm not the only person who thought of it at first glance. They should be completely brand-free. There's no reason for that, and Revain's pictures are deceptive. 2 - Inside the detector body there is a red LED that lights up when there is movement. Super evil and bright at night. I don't see any way to disable this. I can easily see that the LED goes out even in daylight. There is no reason for that. 3. The only way to install them is using the included back panel that snaps into place. The clip breaks very easily and it is not immediately clear how to separate the two parts. The whole body is very cheap plastic (which would be nice if it weren't for the clip design). Once the clip breaks, you're SOL. I had to use double sided tape to install any of the three. 4 - they cannot be opened. The devices are completely sealed, so you can't just paint the device the color of your house or remove that nasty text. The cheapness of plastic is really an issue considering most smart home tech is going to end up in a relatively good place. Nobody wants to see cheap white/grey plastic on their walls. They just don't offer an easy way to fix their cheapness.
