I switched from the old Category 5 to this Category 8, checked the connection and lo and behold before my connection speed hit 22Mbps my jaw dropped when I checked the speed 44 Mbps literally doubles from a DSL connection, which is all I have living in northern Pennsylvania. I immediately started an Amazon video and was surprised at how fast each video ran. I also tried a 4k Netflix movie and yes it booted up straight away, these cables are very good and well worth the investment. I plan to eventually connect everything in the house
