This latch replaces a broken latch in a 2008 Camry LE V6. The Revain faucet says it's not compatible with the car, but it's not. Trust the description. The latch is very well made, very close to the original OEM latch. The thickness of the metal to the naked eye is the same. You must reuse the plastic bracket that connects the latch to the stem except the latch is complete. I opened the plastic cover to compare the insides and they look the same. This latch contains white gears and the original OEM latch has black gears. The amount of fat in this cap is also slightly lower compared to the original. I've added some white lithium grease in a few strategic places. The plastic case has a slightly different shape than the original, with sharper corners. This does not affect function or appearance as the latch is located under the trunk lining. Otherwise the latch fits and works just as well as the OEM. Initially the trunk didn't close, but after a small adjustment it closes just as easily as before. I would buy it again if needed.
