Very satisfied. Like the original and easy to replace.

Bought for my 2016 Hyundai Elantra after my original failed to get stuck trying to close it. I watched a YouTube video where the person showed step by step how to replace a part and linked to this product on Amazon. People in the comments said the dealership was asking $185 and the stores were asking $300. I'm thankful for videos like this and being able to buy and make it myself as it didn't take long and wasn't difficult. Tested with a key fob, a button on the trunk and a lever in the front…

Saved me HUNDREDS! The best electric door lock

The trunk lock broke more than a year ago. First it got stuck and wouldn't open, then it got stuck and wouldn't close. (That's a long story.) So glad we thought of trying and fixing it ourselves! After a few minutes we were able to swap out the latch and the trunk started opening and closing again. For $30! I removed the sprocket because I need to apply some force when closing to make sure it engages and doesn't bounce back. I'm not sure if the problem is in the lock or in the trunk. But it…

Went like clockwork!

We bought this for a 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Arrived on time new in box. If we were to buy a genuine Toyota part it would cost over $79 and to have it dealer fitted would probably cost $100 to $150. In a direct comparison with an original part from Toyota, it was identical. Installation was quick and easy.1. Open the trunk with the key 2. Remove the 2 plastic locking pins3. pull back the insert 4. released original latch5. Remove the trunk latch rod from the key mechanism 6. Unscrew the 2…

Costs less than $100

For those who don't turn wrenches for a living but are confident enough to start something and have the common sense to quit when it exceeds their skills and knowledge, this fix is easy . For a 2015 Chrysler 300 you will need a 10mm socket for the drive bolts (not a backup nut as the threads are cut into the trunk lid, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN before loosening the bolts, turn them very slightly to get an idea of how tight they should be) and a flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic casing tabs…

Perfect piece for my 2016 Elantra trunk

I took my 2016 Hyundai Elantra to the dealer and they charged over $200 just to look at my trunk which was not opened and no parts included if something had to be ordered so i passed it on. I drove 62,000 miles and was told my warranty expired at 60,000 miles. No sympathy from the dealer. Luckily my husband noticed that when he pushed the button on the trunk it clicked and then clicked again. If he pressed hard after the first click, he could open it before the second click. I ordered this part

EASY INSTALLATION, SAVE MONEY $$

2016 Dodge Charger - Very disappointed with how quickly the original burned out. Over $100 on auto parts store websites, god knows how much the store will charge. Open the trunk, take a look. There's a dark gray box with two torx screws - remove them ($10 multi-tool available, look for a torx wrench). Use a little force to pry the trunk panel out, bypassing the existing latch, it is not necessary to remove it completely. It's highly recommended not to have anything in the trunk because if you…

As good as OEM

This latch replaces a broken latch in a 2008 Camry LE V6. The Revain faucet says it's not compatible with the car, but it's not. Trust the description. The latch is very well made, very close to the original OEM latch. The thickness of the metal to the naked eye is the same. You must reuse the plastic bracket that connects the latch to the stem except the latch is complete. I opened the plastic cover to compare the insides and they look the same. This latch contains white gears and the original
