We bought this for a 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Arrived on time new in box. If we were to buy a genuine Toyota part it would cost over $79 and to have it dealer fitted would probably cost $100 to $150. In a direct comparison with an original part from Toyota, it was identical. Installation was quick and easy.1. Open the trunk with the key 2. Remove the 2 plastic locking pins3. pull back the insert 4. released original latch5. Remove the trunk latch rod from the key mechanism 6. Unscrew the 2 screws holding the latch by 10mm 7. Remove the original latch with the rod attached 8. Removed the rod from the broken latch lock and moved it to the new latch9. I reinstalled the latch, screwed the bolts and connecting rod to the key mechanism. Pros: - perfect for OE, plug and play - easy installation, took about 15 minutes to install - worked straight away - great value for money. Disadvantages: none
