Review on Ultimate Magnetic Fishing 🎣 Accessory: DIYMAG Neodymium Fishing Protective Retrieving! by Tyler Cooley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good stuff, but the carbine is weak.

I really like magnet fishing, I've been doing it for a few weeks now and have only found old rusty junk so far, but taking a magnet to new places is fun. It gives me an excuse to explore new rivers and lakes around me and distracts me from whatever is bothering me. Pros: Large magnet. It catches small and medium-sized metal with ease. It's well built and comes with side and top mounting rings for dropping straight down or towing the riverbed. The magnet itself seems well made and solid, I've banged it against a lot of rocks and had no problems. Cons: I'm not thrilled with the included carabiner. I changed mine right away because it seems flimsy and I was worried about losing the magnet due to a broken clip. The rope itself is a bit crappy too, but I still use it and haven't had any issues. It's really good and I stand by my 4/5 rating for the rope. It could be better, but for moderate loads it is quite suitable. It's not a sheathed nylon like 550 paracord or climbing rope, so I'm concerned about cuts and abrasions that could damage the rope. Overall, for the price, this is a great option to start magnet fishing with. I'd also like to recommend that you get a 5 gallon plastic bucket that you can use to transport the magnet or any other interesting piece of metal you can find. Have fun fishing!
