Very handy tool to keep in our car. It has a lid, but it's difficult to remove with one hand after the velcro on the lid is attached to the body. Since the sides are also made of soft material, you need 2 hands, one of which is holding the base unit while opening the Velcro to remove the cover. The product sizes listed on the website are very accurate, so I knew the size of the product I was buying. I've used it to store phone chargers, micro USB cables and headphones - rather than tossing them over the passenger seat. I strongly recommend this product.
