I bought this to replace the pump in my Harbor Freight solvent tank. By exchange I mean the HF pump that comes with the tank is junk that froze after 2 weeks with even the gentlest of cleaners. So now I'm using a separate sump with an under tank pump and it's been working great for a month now. I really expect this pump to last a long time simply because it's designed to handle higher grade chemicals like kerosene. The instructions are a bit unclear, so you need basic wiring knowledge. The instructions state that liquid-tight metal pipes are to be used. I would like to know where to find the fittings, and all because no one wears this. Use an iron/galvanized pipe with sealant for the selected area. The outlet size and thread are the same as the drain line. The exit from the pex would be better, the threaded end is plastic and easy to remove, be careful.
