Review on Whelen Engineering Super LED Lightbar PERMANENT by Chris Horton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

SOLID hardware/permanent solution.

Of course, many companies you've never heard of make similar products in the $30-$50 range that plugged into a DC power supply and held in place by magnets, but "you get what you pay for" is always returned. bite. Go ahead and buy a $50 bar and you'll replace it 4 or 5 times and you'll regret not buying that bar at least once. This little strip of light is durable. Whelen is a trusted name in the emergency lighting world and while I prefer SoundOff panels, this mini lightbar is a great match for one of our plow trucks. This replaced the Ecco 6750 strobe light and oh my god there is a visibility that other products don't have and tying the wiring to my existing switch was a breeze. Easy to install (once I figure out how to remove the headliner) and based on my past experience with Whelen products I'm confident the steering wheel will survive the truck.
