that's the point. I discovered this brand and even though I'm a grown woman I loved it. I wanted a backpack and I liked its elegant simplicity. When it arrived I really liked the size and style, but when I went to use it I noticed the straps were very tight. I noticed that it is an adjustable strap and decided to lengthen it. An hour later, after watching some YouTube videos, I found that I'm actually doing everything right, but the straps weren't long at all. I compared the price of this bag and everyone called it "mini". With the exception of the original site bags. The company itself doesn't list the bag as "mini". The smallest version, this one, is called "Children". For me that explains everything. The child does not need a longer belt. However, fashionistas might like this bag, but unless you are petite and very thin, this bag style is not for us. Otherwise I found the bag to be authentic and almost perfect.
