I have a new 2020 27" iMac (new model released August 2020). Apple's RAM is ridiculously expensive and end-user can easily upgrade it for a fraction of the price so i went up and ordered two 32gb sticks to add the factory two 4gb sticks for a total of 72gb so the memory works BUT in combination with the factory -RAM only 2133Mhz instead of 2166Mhz I ran some tests and the 72GB configuration was faster than my 8GB configuration Then I played with all the combinations in the memory banks, couldn't get the memory to match to run at maximum speed so I removed the factory RAM and tried ONLY 64GB Samsung RAM Of course the speed was bumped up again to 2166Mhz and tests ze ensure that this is the most productive installation in the long run. Samsung: 6481- 64 GB Samsung only: 6768 So I give the RAM 4 stars. it would be 5 if memory didn't slow down in combination with Apple OEM RAM.
