Quality equipment from a respected company with good technical support. I will always have one of these in every van I have ever owned. Since I've had it (less than two months) it has detected an ungrounded power supply and a low voltage condition. And installation was easy. Make sure all connections are good and tight. My only problem installing it was that I picked a hot day for it! One case I've encountered where I want portable SP installed is to start with Economy Mode disabled. Activating ECO mode will result in a low voltage error code. If I had a portable SP I would just remove it and be pretty sure 3600 cranking power from two Gennies would be more than enough to start the AC. Edited to add:. When I start the generators, I'm sure I have clean and stable power, so I just turn off the monitor. Still leaves me with surge protectors. New edit: I just installed a second EMSHW30C on a new trailer (the first was lost when this trailer was sold). The same superb quality of hardware and packaging. Thanks also to Camping Connection.
