Review on 🔧 Browning Enclosed NMO Hole Mount - WSPBR1015 by Jay Chowdhury

I used this NMO mount on a 12 gauge steel antenna mount for my 2m ham radio in my truck. I had to cut a fabricated PL-259 connector to get it through the firewall and then attach a new one; but there is nothing to fear. I attached the antenna to the side of the hood and routed the coaxial cable through the firewall. I secured the coax cable along the back of the engine compartment, being careful not to touch any sharp edges, and routed it through the rubber grommet in the firewall. Long story short, I suddenly experienced a "short" in the coax that rendered the whole thing unusable. This was found after checking the antennas and connectors.
