I bought an ASTRO A10 about 3 months ago. It was in the original packaging and came with a cable (with a sound level scale) as well as a splitter to separate the cable's audio and microphone connectors. I bought this for my daughter yesterday. Only one cable (with sound level scale) was supplied. No splinter. Also, the dial came loose and immediately failed. I discovered this when using headphones in my setup and found that the cable that came with it was defective. In short, $30 is a steal when the original is at least $50 full price. But with the need for a $6 splitter and a $26 spare cable, that's a problem. Don't fall for it.
