Review on Franklin Sports Paper Dartboard 17X0 5 Inch by David Plunkett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfectly acceptable

Franklin Sports Paper Dart A great alternative for beginners I've been playing darts for many years and have my own darts, favorite board and all the bells and whistles. Fast forward 15 years and I thought about starting over, but my life has changed. My son wanted a dartboard but I didn't want him to invest a lot of money in a board that would probably only be used occasionally. . A "real" dartboard is made of sisal fibers that close when the dart is removed. This board is made of tightly compressed paper that is soft to the touch, like a bristle board, but leaves holes. The official board is 17 ¾ inches in diameter while this one measures 17 inches. The bullseye is slightly off-center, which is annoying. The wire is thin enough that the arrows don't ricochet off it. Darts are a typical shaft type - steel tip, nylon shaft and fletching, too light for the serious player but acceptable for a beginner. On the back of this board is another game. You can play where your darts are baseball games. If this was my first dartboard I would probably rate it a 4.
