First day with my new sharpener and unfortunately last. Once I'm done with this review, I'm going to spend another $15 on new crayons, which makes me a little pissed. Adult coloring pages are meant to be relaxing, but I don't think I have enough pages left to deal with the frustration I'm feeling with this pencil sharpener. Two pressing issues: When I first opened it to empty the shavings and put the lid back on, the green base cracked at the lip, meaning it wouldn't hold up anymore (as I found out the hard way when the lid on the lid was chipping off right next to pencil and, you guessed it, shavings are everywhere). After that, the sharpener started eating away at the ends of the pencils, sealing the blade with a broken point and I had to MacGyver find a way to get it out. I tried rotating just the sharpener (not the pencil) and when I took the pencil out the tips fell out of the pencils themselves (see photo). I always check reviews before buying anything from Revain and was confident in purchasing this sharpener. but this didn't work for me at all.
