Baofeng Radio UV-5R MK5 8W MP Max Power - NO ADVICE 8 WATTS

In general, an excellent walkie-talkie, apart from the inconsistency with the declared wattage. ADVANTAGES: - Low price for a dual band radio - Light and compact size - I like the "feel" when holding the radio in my hand - "Display" shows different "colors" (user configurable ) for Tx and Rx - It has VOICE ACKNOWLEDGMENT for various functions. When you change the preset MEMORY CHANNELS, you don't have to look at the display to see which channel is, as the VOICE tells you - the display is quite large and clear. (See picture) Power is 6-7W. The USER MANUAL describes many functions but does not explain very well how to set or delete MEMORY CHANNELS. However, you can go online and watch a video on how to do it. OPTIONAL: - I would recommend buying a cable with a plug that can be plugged into a PC if you configure or change MEMORY CHANNELS very often.
