Review on EPAuto Replacement 2011 2016 2015 2016 2010 2015 by Joseph Stone

This filter was perfect for my 2014 Prius V, appears to be well made so no complaints. However, I foolishly ignored a couple of reviews that mentioned mileage, assuming they were crazy, picky or something. Long story short, I lost about 3 mpg absolutely, with the only change being replacing that filter and the cabin air filter. I replaced both filters with old, very clogged Toyota filters (bought the car a few months ago, the first owner apparently never changed them) - especially considering how bad the old ones were and it was driving me crazy, what they actually gave worse results. Either way, do the math - a 3mpg loss, so it's not worth saving $20 if you can get this thing 20-30k miles away. I'm in no rush to change it back because it's fine and who's to complain about 42mpg, but yeah - I'll definitely try something different next time.
