Get what you pay for, about average.

In general, the installation is quite simple. The pictures in the instructions are hard to see, but it's pretty obvious that they're from Silverado. Perfect for my 2005. As many mention, the gear is cheap, but you can reuse most of your truck's gear. I think I only used 2 of their clips. The biggest issue for me was the fact that the actual filter is HUGE. It doesn't fit properly in the required space. I barely got it under the lip of the engine bay, and I still had to tighten it at a downward angle for it to work. I'm worried that it won't work as well due to all the stress at the point where it connects to the hose. It looks really cheap but I tested it and had no problems, no codes came up and it sounded like it was breathing better. I know I will improve gas mileage but time will tell if it will be measurable. Worth the money if you know what you are doing. If not before then, it will be a piece of cake.
