I made it but had to modify it to work with my 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium (no navigation but with Bluetooth). There are at least three options for steering wheel wiring and this one is probably made for the ones I don't have. This might work out of the mailbox in an Impreza or Forester or non-Bluetooth OEM stereo, but do your own research. Pros: + This is the easiest way to get the correct 12-pin wiring harness to run Aux audio , VSS and flyback signals. They work as expected. + The 20 pin connector has all the wires you need (if you don't need pin 11 for the steering wheel control) that other popular brand connectors don't have. If you need pin 11, you can move the wire from pin 13 to pin 11 with enough strength and persistence. CONS: - The ASWC connector lacks the white/green ASWC wire, which needs to be grounded for some connector options. steering wheel control. Mine didn't work without that wire. In my case I had to fix this by disconnecting the ASWC connector and soldering the one that came with the ASWC-1 in its place. This left me with a bunch of unused wires. The 20 pin connector had a bizarre wire fault. One was 18 AWG, the rest were a mix of 20, 22, and 24 AWG. Some are copper wires, some are aluminum wires. There was even mismatch between two wires (+/- polarity) for a speaker. All of these wires must be copper and the same (or larger) gauge as those present in the OEM connector. It was very disappointing.
