This laptop stand is definitely useful as I use this product on a daily basis, but that doesn't mean it causes mild irritation on a daily basis. The base itself doesn't slide off my desk or my laptop with rubber feet, which I really appreciate. However, the "leg parts" of the stand move slightly when the laptop or base is adjusted slightly, which wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the really annoying attempt to get them back in place at the same time if something is on the stand is. The problem is that when my laptop isn't on it, extending the mount (which is also adjustable, making the product more versatile) when setting it up to its maximum length is also a little tricky. It's still a very useful and versatile product, but it bugs me for a minute or two during the day. If you're restless like me or you're carrying your laptop, it's probably a little annoying. However, if you leave your laptop in place, this is a great product. Still, I don't regret buying this product, but that doesn't make it any less annoying.
