A luminous 20 liter aquarium installed. The aquarium is normal, without leaks and defects. The water filter is a Tetra Whisper 20, it works quietly and pleasantly. The suction line for the filter runs about halfway up the tank, so an extra length is needed to go further. It came with two sets of lights, a small set of blue or "glowing fish" lights and a couple of white lights. The little water heater seems to work fine, keeping the water at 78C with a room temperature of 70C. It's not regulated. It came with some glowing artificial fish plants which I would rate 2 out of 10 for cuteness. I mean they just look horribly wrong LOL and what I was expecting I guess. I bought some real plants to go there and will probably get fake plants out of here soon. I bought black gravel with pink/green/orange acrylic pebbles and the black gravel is very dirty and difficult to clean just a warning. Be very careful when installing the lid on the aquarium. The lid of the fish tank is quite flimsy and if you apply too much force to it it will break. A few things worth mentioning as this is a starter kit for aquarium beginners. If you have a 20 gallon aquarium, try a 30 gallon filter. You don't want to max out your filter. A way of making people fail by putting a water filter that maxes out at 20 gallons in a 20 gallon tank. The fish is dirty, you need a good filter. Make sure you fill your engine with a filter. It's simple: take a cup and fill the tank with water so that the engine does not burn out. If you have the opportunity, go to the pet store. You will most likely save money on items instead of buying this kit. Now I'm telling you this because I'm in rural Alaska and the nearest Petco or something is 200 miles away. But if you can get a 20 gallon tank with a lid, buy your own water filter and water heater, and customize the parts for your tank, you can get what you need for less than buying this kit. As I mentioned earlier, you should get a larger water filter and an adjustable water heater. Fake plants look fake and tasteless. As in any other case, if someone else collects things for you, it won't be exactly what you want. I know that I will end up buying an upgraded water filter and adjustable water heater. Make sure you don't skimp on bacteria to start the nitrogen cycle. Something like a Safe Launch Tetra will help you get your tank ready quicker. This is not the end of all solutions. You still need to do water changes and test the water to make sure the ammonia and nitrite levels aren't getting out of hand. But adding some bacteria will help you speed up the process.
