These strainers are set high, which means you have to fill the cup to just above the brim for the tea to spill out. runs across the pages. this makes the process very inconvenient and messy. I can take needle nose pliers and try to shape the sides so the screen is lower and doesn't fall in. Or I can just (well, I just did) order some mug strainers. The only saving grace was that they were very cheap, so it's not really a loss…. I can use small stainless steel cups for sauces, condiments or screws…. Update: I bent the sides to allow the filter to sit lower, but it's wobbly and still very uncomfortable and messy - I'm done fumbling. it's time to move on.
