Review on Cobra 420026N001 Power Cord: Coiled 12-Volt Accessory for Efficient Connectivity by Keith Maynard

I purchased this item on April 25th 2017 and it officially died two days ago on July 3rd 2017. This was my second replacement power cord (I bought the direct from Cobra but it stopped working after about 6 months). Now I need to buy a THIRD power cord. It's absolutely ridiculous. How hard is it to make a working power cord? I used my previous Cobra radar detector for 10 years and never had to change the power cord. I'm so mad at myself that I got rid of the cable with the device when I got a new radar detector. I don't know what happened between then and now, but the quality of this thing is disgusting and I'm starting to get annoyed with having to buy a new one every few months.
