Excellent replacement cord

My dog ate my last one. But this one worked great and my cobra prevented me from getting a ticket to travel from STL to Dallas. Averages about 90 mph (when my wife wasn't paying attention).

  • Pleasant to use

  • Infuriates

Replacement Cable for my Cobra Radar Detector

I purchased this cable for my Cobra Radar Detector because the cable that came with it was beginning to fall apart exposing electrical wires. For me it was dangerous. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend!

  • Long Range
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Great product, great price, reliable!

I bought this 2 years ago and it's still working I bought this in 2018 and I'm still using the exact same radar and cable and it has lasted a long time. I've driven 2 cars since I bought this one and 2 years of unlimited travel!

No exchange - Power cord

Totally disappointed with this product. Misleading information on the website, there is a general statement that it fits Cobra radar detectors and the detector plugin looks like it should. Unfortunately it does not fit the XRS 797 model. If you buy this model or series, do not waste your money. The information on the website does not specify which model it is suitable for and does not include a no-refund policy. So that there are no STARS in all directions. Nate

Perfect for my old Cobra and great for .

Perfect for my old Cobra and a bargain at nine bucks. These replacement cables typically last three or four years, which is more than enough time to pay for them. One downside is that the coiled cord isn't as "long" as the non-coiled version - it's technically longer, but it's coiled so tightly that it tugs at the Cobra and tilts the device sideways a bit. However, this is not the fault of the product; Also, a tighter cable means less chance of me accidentally unplugging the cable and making…

Dies in 2 months

I purchased this item on April 25th 2017 and it officially died two days ago on July 3rd 2017. This was my second replacement power cord (I bought the direct from Cobra but it stopped working after about 6 months). Now I need to buy a THIRD power cord. It's absolutely ridiculous. How hard is it to make a working power cord? I used my previous Cobra radar detector for 10 years and never had to change the power cord. I'm so mad at myself that I got rid of the cable with the device when I got a…

Same cable as the radar detector works great

Perfect for my Cobra radar detector. I wasn't sure about the fit because they listed so many models that it will fit, but check the model number under your radar detector, it will tell you if it fits the list or not. The model number is located next to the serial number. I lost the small metal spring pin at the end of the protruding cord, it flew away in my car in an unknown direction as it is between the seat and the console. I was frustrated because I thought I would have to buy a whole new…
