
I needed a fast Arduino compatible processor for an iterative solver involving matrix manipulation and complex numbers. Arduino Mega completed the program in 169 seconds. Seeeduino XIAO (M0, 32bit, 48MHz) took 89 seconds. Teensy 3.5 (M4, 32-bit, 120MHz) took 14 seconds. I thought it was pretty good until Teensy 4.1 (M7, 32bit, 600MHz) finished it in 0.45 seconds! But it seems a little touchy; I had to use a very short USB cable to communicate serially with the serial monitor. If you're looking for speed, Teensy 4.1 seems to be the winner!
