Review on Efficient Performance: Motorcraft XT5QMC Mercon Automatic Transmission Fluid for Enhanced Transmission Function by Raymond Iglesias

The first time I changed the transmission oil in my Ford pickup I used the Valvoline equivalent of this product. A few days later I noticed that the transmission started to shift heavily at low speeds. I just changed it again a few days ago and decided on the manufacturer's brand. This time I was able to drain 98 percent of the old fluid. The box switches like new again. Remember, this transmission fluid has been formulated according to the manufacturer's instructions for your Ford transmission. I'm not a mechanic. I don't work for Ford, but I've changed quite a few auto fluids over the years. Just my recommendation, good luck with your project.
