Great low-cost option to replace worn out cutting machine mats

these are a Great low-cost option to replace worn out cutting machine mats. Also great if you find you just need more mats - i mean really, can you ever have enough? I have a Cricut Explorer air2 and use it a lot so my mats get worn out fast. I used to try washing and re-stickying them but it was just such a pain and didn't really come out sticky enough for me and the spray adhesive is still $9-$11. So I decided to try out a non-name brand cutting mat and these ones were my second try. I really like them - I do mostly HTV and perm vinyl and these mats are nice and sticky - maybe in the middle of Cricut's medium and heavy stick options. Which for me is great. They would be good for heavy cardstock but any lighter papers would be super hard to weed with out tearing - just be advised. I've only been using them for a week (about 4 runs each) and they show no signs of wear yet. I'll try to remember to update this once I finally wear them out to see if they were as durable as the Cricut brand. The grid is the same and it feeds perfectly into my machine with no hang-ups or slips while cutting. I'm going to be getting this brand's 12x24 mats once my current set finally quit on me, or maybe earlier cause as stated above: can you really ever have enough mats?

Pros
  • 4 different ones for different materials. They are great.
Cons
  • The cost of purchasing replacement mats can add up over time, making it a pricey investment in the long run
