Whether you have a genetic predisposition for rapid growth or not, the goal of hair growth is to prevent hair breakage. I chose to behave naturally during the pandemic and wore protective gear for a year. As my hair grew it was very dry with knots/tangles. After a month of use, I noticed increased porosity (ability to retain moisture) and less tangles. The shampoo is light and foams quickly. Since the powder is heavier than shampoo, it settles to the bottom, so I turn the bottle upside down before dispersing the powder. I clean my scalp with a charcoal scrub, then apply the AC Shampoo a second time and leave the AC Conditioner on overnight. I wash next week with: shea butter conditioner and AC conditioner; Leave on for half an hour and rinse out and my hair is soft and ready for leave-in products. I will keep buying.
