Rain or shine I like to go on at least one walk a day. Sometimes my walk takes place during some pretty heavy rains. I used to have a really nice Dunlop umbrella that lasted a good 2-3 years. When that one finally broke and I couldn't find a similar Dunlop, I did a little research and decided to give this one a shot based on the item description and customer reviews.While it lasted it was a very good umbrella. It's very lightweight and kept me very dry even during some pretty heavy rains. However, this thing barely lasted four months. Bought it in late September and it broke last night. The button part broke off so now I have to wrap it up to get it to close and since it won't close it's very hard to wrap up. Very annoying. Luckily I can still use it until I can get a replacement, but I think I'll be going in a different direction with that replacement as I really want to find something that will last as long as my old Dunlop did and this sadly wasn't it.
