Review on Tervis Straw Lid Insulated Tumbler, Compatible with 24oz and 16oz Mugs, in Turquoise by Liberty Nayak

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For Tervis fans like me, his lid might be the ONLY one!

Over the years I have become a loyal Tervis fan. I've bought a drinking cup before and noticed what others have said: the main design flaw in drinking from it effectively. The Tervis straw inserts with minimal effort, but LOTS of liquid will be lost if the glass tips over. Which brings me to the subject of this review, which is depicted on the lid where there is a hole just for consuming a straw. And we can start with a personal issue: I or my pets regularly tip Tervis goggles. And he can still lose a lot of fluid. But to be honest, I keep it with me all day. As for the most striking points, otherwise it's almost perfect. I have and love black tops, but black seems a lot harder to find when my glass is out of place. It's a really rich shade of red and not easy to lose! Works great on the top rack of the dishwasher. This, like all Tervis tops I've had, simply presses down for a secure fit. As long as you can push it all the way down so the top of the lid is touching, it won't come off unless you want it to. I've never had a problem carrying a filled jar on top and removing the lid is very easy. (for me - I understand there are a lot of people with hand strength and grip issues...if that applies to you then you might still be able to use Tervis but not wear it over it. This top is a great product in terms of quality and sure will last a long time.
