Review on 🏠 Clear Housing Black - Hydronix HF3 10CLBK34 by Lance Levatte

We spent months working with the fittings that connect our tubing to these filter housings. I think we've tried all the compounds available at Lowe's and Home Depot. Spent a small fortune to find something that would make it work. No matter what we tried, eventually, and sometimes immediately, they would lick. The problem is that there is no breakpoint on the internal or external thread. It's a continuous thread, so any thread that goes in moves on without flush touching the surface to trap water. We tried #5, multiple layers of tape (10, 20, and 30 loops), hose connectors, rubber washers, PEX connectors. We're out of options. We ended up replacing the entire setup with Lowe's GE kit, which worked great from the start. It's sad to see all this money wasted trying to get these things to work. All they had to do was attach a retaining ring to one end of the thread and everything would work just fine. Can't recommend her to anyone.
