I'm using these beautifully finished thumbtacks for a non-standard purpose. My old Jaguar's headliner has separated from is foam backing, causing the fabric of the headliner to hang down and contact the heads of rear-seat passengers.Not having $675 to replace the headliner of my 16-year-old car, I took a top from a detailing specialist and decided on a low-tech solution: using thumbtacks to re-attach the headliner fabric to its backing foam. I ended up using the entire container of these push pins, and their subtle yet elegant design complements my car's interior. If you didn't know better, you'd think they came with the car. A word of advice if you plan to do this: Apply a drop of contact cement to the pointy end before you plug it in, and it won't work its way back out.Excellent value. Highly recommended.
