Little bits of beauty

I'm using these beautifully finished thumbtacks for a non-standard purpose. My old Jaguar's headliner has separated from is foam backing, causing the fabric of the headliner to hang down and contact the heads of rear-seat passengers. Not having $675 to replace the headliner of my 16-year-old car, I took a top from a detailing specialist and decided on a low-tech solution: using thumbtacks to re-attach the headliner fabric to its backing foam. I ended up using the entire container of these push…

Pros
  • Super cute wish there was more of them!!
Cons
  • The pins are not suitable for thicker materials

Tacks that Tack good for me

The only negative I have to say about these tacks is they seem to be shorter in length than I expected. However, they seem to do the job they're designed to do. Each tack is discretely fastened to the package in a way that keeps them secure until they are needed.

Pros
  • These are tiny…too small for my older hands to use…but very cool designs!
Cons
  • Pricy and they don’t seem to be any better than the averag push pins .

Just what I wanted!

I wanted these for their decorative appeal! They did not disappoint. However, they are a little hard to get back out of my board. But that may be my board. not the tacks. Overall I’m happy!

Pros
  • Use for our huge bulletin board at work not overly fancy but not boring
Cons
  • The pins are difficult to grip and handle

Cute pushpins good for me

Cute designs, otherwise like standard pushpins. I've been using them at my cubicle at work which doesn't let you push them all the way in so I try to put them in at an angle (a longer pushpin would have been easier for this, but that's not these pushpins' fault). Sometimes if I don't get them in right because of the thin space on the cubicle board, they fall down. I put up the whole package, had several of them fall and I put them back up, took some out and moved them, and after a few weeks…

Pros
  • Perfect color and size!
Cons
  • The pins are not durable in high-traffic areas

Great quality in my review

I bought these to use with my new black bulletin board, and they're so cute! I was really impressed by the quality and secure packaging.

Pros
  • Great color choice good pins for my Dad's cork board for Christmas!
Cons
  • The pins are not ergonomically designed for easy use

Good tacks on my review.

fine tacks for use with re-upolsterty and odd jobs. Not as effective for cork boards because of the shorter shank and difficulty gripping. But, these are well made tacks and for appropriate uses, they are good

Pros
  • I love these push pins. Really cute design and work well. Good quantity for the price also.
Cons
  • The pins don't hold up well over time

Cheap and fall apart

They are impossible to get out of the packaging. They came with the press-on designs on the top crooked or hanging off the side of the pushpin, which only got worse as I had to pry each one out. My fingernails hurt and several of the designs popped off all together. Total waste of money.

Pros
  • Nothing special to say about this, it does the job and as you can see it has a nice top
Cons
  • The pins are not rust-resistant

Particularly Pretty Pushpins

I wanted to give these pushpins five stars because they really are very pretty. The only trouble is that sometimes the decorative cover falls off and needs to be re-stuck onto the pushpin. It’s relatively easy to re-stick them, but this isn’t what I would expect from any pushpins that I’m buying, and so I have to give them four stars. Besides this one inconvenience they are a worthwhile purchase.

Pros
  • Modern and lovely, but they are so flat, it's hard to pull them out of the cork board.
Cons
  • The pins are too short and fall out easily

Hard to use, cute to look at

As cute as these pins are, they are a pain to take on and off. Their shape is so flat that it is not easy to get ahold of to move. They also can trick you into thinking they are on but they will fall off without any prompting.

Pros
  • Looks nice on a gray board. I have been using them for a few months and they have held up.
Cons
  • The pins are not strong enough to hold heavy items

Fun patterns in my review

They're thumb tacks. Not much to dislike about them, if you need them :) The patterns on the heads are fun and whimsical, making them a welcome addition to the my cubical wall.

Pros
  • i liked this product because it looks good on my board
Cons
  • The pins are not practical for large-scale projects
